The short version

Progeny Notion is Notion templates sold as instant downloads in the ProgenyPrintables shop on Etsy. Buy it and it is yours to use in your own work, for as many of your own clients as you like. You may not resell it, republish it, or hand the file to people who did not buy it. It is a reference, not legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing in it is a promise about what you will earn.

01

Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you — the person buying or using Progeny Notion — and FHL Stephens LLC, the publisher of it. Throughout, "we" and "us" mean FHL Stephens LLC, and "you" means you.

FHL Stephens LLC, registered in Oregon, United States, is at 1303 SE Stephens St, Roseburg, OR 97470. That is the address for anything in these pages that says to write to us.

By buying Progeny Notion, downloading it, or using progenynotion.com, you agree to what is written here. If you do not agree, do not buy it and do not use the site.

02

What you are buying

Progeny Notion is Notion templates sold as instant downloads in the ProgenyPrintables shop on Etsy.

It is a digital product. When your payment clears you get a download link by email, immediately and automatically. There is nothing to ship and nothing to wait for. If the link does not arrive within a few minutes, check the spam folder and then write to us — we will send it again by hand.

We may improve, correct or reword it after you buy. Where an update is issued for the edition you bought, you get it at no further charge, and we will not withdraw access to what you have already paid for.

03

What you may do with it, and what you may not

You may

You may not

We keep the copyright. Buying a copy buys you the use described above; it does not transfer ownership of the work itself.

04

Payment, refunds and cancellation

Refunds. Because the file is delivered instantly and cannot be handed back, we do not offer refunds as a matter of course. We do refund, in full, when the product is not what this site said it was, when the download never worked, or when you were charged twice. Ask within 30 days of buying and say what went wrong. We would rather refund you than have you stuck with something you cannot use.

Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in US dollars unless the checkout page says otherwise. Any sales tax or VAT that applies is added at checkout and collected by the payment processor, not by us.

If a charge appears that you did not make, write to support@progenynotion.com before disputing it with your bank, and we will sort it out faster than a chargeback will.

05

This is not professional advice

Progeny Notion is a working reference, not advice. It is not legal advice, not tax advice, not accounting advice and not financial advice, and using it does not create a solicitor–client, attorney–client, or any other professional relationship between you and us.

Law, tax and industry practice differ by country, state and trade, and they change. Any wording, clause or contract language in Progeny Notion is a starting point for a conversation with your own lawyer or accountant — not a document certified as enforceable where you are. Have a professional review anything you intend to rely on.

Any figures, rates, percentages or worked examples are illustrative. They demonstrate a method. They are not benchmarks, not rate surveys, and not a prediction of what you will charge or earn.

06

What we do not promise

Progeny Notion is supplied as it is. We do not promise that it fits your particular situation, that it is complete for your trade, that it is free of error, or that using it will win you work or raise your prices.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of Progeny Notion or progenynotion.com is limited to the amount you actually paid us. We are not liable for lost profit, lost business, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be removed by agreement. Some places give consumers guarantees that a contract cannot sign away; where that is so, those rights still stand and this section is read down to fit them.

07

Your account and your conduct

Where progenynotion.com gives you a login, you are responsible for keeping it to yourself and for what happens under it. Tell us at support@progenynotion.com if you think someone else has it.

Do not attempt to break into, overload, scrape wholesale, or interfere with progenynotion.com or anyone else's use of it. We may suspend access that is being used this way, or that is being used to redistribute what you bought, and a suspension for redistribution is not refunded.

08

Links and services we do not run

Progeny Notion and progenynotion.com point at other people's websites, sources and tools. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they say or do, and a link is not an endorsement. The same goes for the payment processor and any hosting or email service in the path — their own terms govern their part.

09

Privacy

What we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted is set out separately in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the product and the law change. The version in force is the one on this page, and the Effective date at the top says when it took effect. A change is not applied backwards to a purchase you have already made.

11

Governing law, and how a dispute is handled

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Oregon, United States, and you and we agree that the courts of that state are where any dispute about them is heard. If you are a consumer somewhere whose own law gives you the right to bring a claim locally, this does not take that right away.

Before anything formal, write to us at support@progenynotion.com. Almost everything that has ever gone wrong here was a download link or a duplicate charge, and both are fixed in a day by email.

12

The rest of it

If one part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about Progeny Notion, and they replace anything said beforehand.

You may not transfer your rights under these terms to someone else without us agreeing in writing. We may transfer ours if the business changes hands, and your rights carry over unchanged if that happens.

13

How to reach a person

Email support@progenynotion.com. A person reads it. Say what you bought and what happened, and you will get an answer rather than a ticket number.
